About Sebastian

Meet Sebastian! ***SPECIAL NEEDS*** This adorable male Frenchie puppy is 6-months-old and weighs 15 pounds. We expect him to be between 20-25 pounds fully grown. He has the most unique merle markings and the sweetest disposition. He is great with other dogs, doesn't mind docile cats, and is fantastic with children. Sebastian was transferred to our rescue after being diagnosed with severe pulmonic stenosis. His anatomy was not amenable for a balloon valvuloplasty and Texas A&M University Small Animal Hospital performed an experimental procedure called a pulmonic stent placement. The surgery was a success! With that said, since this procedure has never been done before, there are no case studies on the longevity of the stent. The cardiology department is confident he will do well but will need annual check-ups. Sebastian needs a very special adopter that can provide any medical care he may need in the future. He is intact (for now), vaccinated, microchipped, current on monthly heartworm prevention, and taking daily medication for his heart. His adoption fee is $1,000.
