About Warrior

Bullies are commonly called nanny dogs. They are described as loyal, loving, gentle, and docile. Each of these words describe our sweet Warrior. Warrior entered the shelter as a 5 month old puppy with severe demodectic mange. He was scabby and hairless. He has grown into the most handsome, 9.5 month old, 48.3 lb boy with the softest, silver coat with expressive eyes. Warrior is house and crate trained. Warrior is playful outside, but settles quick in the home. He is dog and kid friendly. Cats are unknown at this time. Warrior has been super gentle taking treats from humans of all ages. He has become a fan favorite to all the kiddos he meets in foster care. Warrior is neutered, current with vaccines, and fostered in Harrisburg, PA We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. Saturday, December 10, 2022, PA Caring for K9's will be at Faulkner Toyota in Harrisburg, PA from 10am-2pm with some of our adoptable dogs! All are invited to meet our dogs, but only pre-approved adopters with all household humans and dogs present will be able to adopt at the event.
