About Rambo

Rottweiler mix
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

Meet Rambo !! **IF YOU DO NOT READ THE ENTIRE POST WE WILL KNOW YOU ARE NOT A SERIOUS ADOPTER. PLEASE LEARN ABOUT THE DOG HERE BEFORE MESSAGING AND READ ALL REQUIREMENTS*** This sweet, adorable and loyal puppy is looking for his perfect new home. Rambo is a 5 month old, male Rottweiler mix. He weighs approx 25- 30 Pounds. He does NOT have a docked tail. He will be a large and strong dog. He will get several sets of vaccines, a microchip and neuter as part of his adoption. Rambo has been great with other dogs. He loves to play with them. He can be a little overwhelming to dogs that aren't playful but he is learning. He can play endlessly and would really love another playmate in the home. He has not yet met any cats. He is great with kids. He has been doing decent with potty training. He's done fairly well but may have a few accidents in his new home while learning a new schedule. He is doing well with walking on the leash and loves long walks, he does good on car rides. He has also done very well with crate training. He will whine at first and then settles down. Rambo is a very energetic little guy. He's all puppy. He loves to run and play. He would love an active family and/or another fun loving dog to play with. He also has a very cuddly and snuggly side to him. You must be willing to exercise him several times a day to keep him physically and mentally stimulated. If he doesn't have a proper outlet for his energy he won't be happy or well behaved. He LOVES toys. He grabs a toy on his way out to potty every time and loves running around to play. He's a really sweet boy and loves his people. He wants to be with you all the time. Rambo has not shown any food, toy or treat aggression with humans or other dogs. He loves toys. He is still a bit in the chewing stage so having lots of toys and bones around helps him make good choices. Adopting a Rottweiler is a huge responsibility. These are strong willed and intelligent dogs. It is absolutely essential that you properly train and socialize them with other animals and people a lot when they are young, and continue that throughout their lives. They need a strong and knowledgeable owner. This is not a breed for a first time dog owner. Unfortunately this breed has a stereotype of being aggressive or scary. By adopting one you need to understand this and ensure your rottie is an ambassador for the breed and always well trained and under your control at all times. These dogs can be the absolute most loyal and loving family dogs you've ever owned. The way they turn out is largely based on the effort you put into them as puppies. If you're not fully willing and committed to do this then it's not the breed for you. These dogs are banned from almost all rentals (to include most vacation rentals) AND banned from many homeowners insurance policies. Do not apply to adopt if you have not called and verified with your landlord and/or insurance company that you can own one. Vet and home checks required. Fence yard preferred. Located in Hampton VA. (He will need to be adopted within a 1 hour drive radius) '%BC%8FPlease message [email protected] directly with questions or to get an application.'%BC%8F
