About Joy

Hi, I'm Joy! I'm a 3 years old possible Chihuahua mix and away around 11 pounds. Sadly my owner passed away and my sister and myself lost the only home we ever had. My ideal home would be a very loving family, who will give me time to adjust and lots of cuddles. You can always find me in my favorite spot on the back of the sofa, all curled up, nice and cozy. Also sleeping in the bed beside is a must for me. I love being where my people, we could cuddle up while reading your favorite book. You could even read to me if you like, hearing the sound of your voice makes my little tail just wag with excitement. I would love to be in a home with other pups too. I learn a lot from them and still enjoy play time, chase is my favorite game to play. Older kids or no kids would work best for me too. The smaller ones really intimidate me and i need boundaries when it comes to my naps. Plus you have to watch me, I'll try to sneak out the front door if your aren't careful. Having a secured fenced in yard would be perfect for me. I'm doing great with potty training, with consistency and high praise, it makes me extremely happy.
