Meet Dolly Parton! This 4-years young friendly, playful, silly, and snuggly steel magnolia came to us from local animal control after being found as a stray and it is obvious she has had a litter (or more). Dolly has an amazing maturity and a moderate energy level. She can be very playful and active, but also loves to cuddle and snooze with you on the couch or recliner . And she's never had an accident in her foster home. Dolly loves making nose art on car windows and flip-flopping around on the couch or rug doing her daily aerobics, pausing in the most comical positions. She will 'talk' to you, making little whines, soft barks, and other little noises like she is telling a story (and if you talk back to her, she'll keep the conversation going!). As a true foodie who hasn't met a food she didn't love, she always has to be near you in the kitchen. Dolly proudly destuffs soft toys with gusto and will bring you the stuffing as a gift. And like the real Dolly Parton, this sweet pup is known for her huge heart�'�|m ost of all, Dolly loves, loves, loves to cuddle and doesn't really understand personal space. She is very sweet and loving, can be sooo silly and has the greatest head tilt in New England. We think Dolly's ideal home would be one where she is able to be part of the family as the only pet, snuggling on the furniture with her humans. Don't worry, this gorgeous 9-to-5'er has more than enough love to go around (and will always love you). She has shown a sensitivity to some dogs (mostly male), likely due to her breeding background and we feel we owe it to her to give her a 'safe' space as an only pet to live her best life. Due to her size and lack of history, older kids would be best for this wiggly and sweet lady.
