About Oliver

*PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY* Meet Oliver!! Oliver is a 1-1/2 to 2 year old, 20 pound, Chihuahua/Pug mix (what we fondly refer to as a 'Chug')! He's a very sweet boy with a pretty amazing underbite! Oliver was found as a stray and we were unable to find his owners. He is a very sweet boy who is very playful and loves toys��%BD��%BD%BD��%BD��%BD%BD%BD'��%BD��%BD%BD��%BD��%BD%BD%BD| in fact, he loves them so much he usually carries one around is his mouth most of the time! Oliver enjoys playing with other dogs and would prefer another playful dog in the home. He is very gentle with the senior dog in his current foster home and even gets her to play now and then! Oliver is potty trained and rides well in the car and is always up for an outing to Starbucks for a Puppuccino! His foster mom has been working on basic obedience training with him and he is very eager to learn (hint��%BD��%BD%BD��%BD��%BD%BD%BD'��%BD��%BD%BD��%BD��%BD%BD%BD|he is very treat motivated)! He is not a big barker and is learning commands like 'off' and 'no bark'. He will need a home where his owner(s) will continue working on obedience and leash training so that he can become his best self! We are requiring a secure, fenced yard for Oliver. Since he was stray, we don't know anything about his previous life, so we are not sure about how he is around kids but according to his foster mom, his whole body shakes with happiness when the neighbor kids are playing outside, but we would prefer any children in the home be at least 12 years old and of a kind, gentle and respectful nature. He loves people but seems to prefer women a wee bit more than men��%BD��%BD%BD��%BD��%BD%BD%BD'��%BD��%BD%BD��%BD��%BD%BD%BD|. Oliver does have some slight allergies which are under control on a lamb and sweet potato dog food (no chicken).
