About Paxton

Hey there! Paxton here. I just wanted to take a few moments and introduce myself. I was born February 21st, 2021 and am a neutered purebred Australian Shepherd. I was just rescued from a not so great situation and am looking for my furever home. My foster parents are constantly telling me I am so smart and great. I am very outgoing and energetic. Running in the yard is so much fun especially when they throw their ball. I keep bringing it back to them and they just throw it again. Maybe one day they will learn to keep up with it but until then I will keep getting it for them. I have 4 foster siblings. Two are cats and two are dogs. I love them all so much. I get so excited when I see them and just want to play. The cats run from me when I sniff them. They are training me to do all kinds of stuff. I am learning to walk well on a leash. This is taking a few minutes as the smells are overwhelming, but once I settle down, I do great. I love to sit and shake especially when I get a treat. I am very social and want to keep an eye on my humans in case they need me. It's a scary world and I want to make sure they are safe. This is very common for us Australian Shepherds. At times I get to lay in my condo and relax. This is very nice as I get to take a nap. I really enjoy sleeping in it at night as well. I am not a big fan of getting in the bath tub but once I am in the pampering is very relaxing. It's like a whole body massage. My furever home will need to have a nice yard for me to run and play. Since I was rescued I haven't been around any small children. I know I will love them but I might get excited and jump on them. My foster parents say if you are interested in me to let them know so they can meet you and make sure we are good fit. Hope to meet you soon!! Paxton out!!
