About Diamond

Diamond is a husky mix who weighs about 60 pounds and is about 3 years old. She's just one of those dogs who you wish could speak! She gazes into your eyes and listens to you and you have two wonder what she would tell you if she could! Diamond is smart and happy and playful! She loves throwing ballls and toys through the yard and playing with other dogs. She also has excellent house manners, loves to ride in the car and lives to love her family! Diamond is not a good fit for a home with cats or chickens but would likely be just fine with well behaved children. ***Diamond's adoption fee is sponsored by one of our generous donors in the month of Dec! *** Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA area during the pandemic. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
