About Lani

Meet Lani! Lani is a very sweet and super loving gal. She has is now fully adjusted to life post puppies. Lani currently lives with a mixed group of other very loving mutts. While Lani tends to require a lot of attention and is more of a dominant/alpha type, she responds well to corrections. Her and her current house mates 'talk' to each other throughout the day but have never gotten into any sort of scuffle. Lani definitely enjoys exercise. Her current routine involves daily group walks and 20-30 minutes of ball playing with the others. She is very good at retrieving and would play ball for hours if someone is willing to throw the ball that long. Lani is good with basic commands (come, sit, down). She is still young and excitable so she still jumps up, but is working on that and making progress! Lani is great in the house and does not have accidents and is not in a kennel when left home alone. She is good about not chewing things that are left out on the ground but she will inspect the counter in the kitchen and will grab things that look good to her. Lani will make a very loyal companion to someone and has a lot to offer to an active person/family and a home with other dog friends that she can play with.
