Lucy is 10-12 months old, looks like a Dachshund mix, and weighs a sturdy 19 lbs. Lucy is a social butterfly and delights in meeting new people and dogs. She gets along fabulously with the other dogs in her foster home. Lucy adores romping in the fenced-in yard with them, playing tug and fetch. When she's tired, though, she's a huge cuddle bug! Her foster mom says she loves to be on her lap to get pets and will then lay calmly beside her to rest. Lucy is housetrained and also knows how to use the doggie door. She is crate trained and rides well in the car. Lucy also is leash trained and enjoys going for walks. She has learned the commands: Sit, Off, Come and Wait at the Door. Lucy has a wonderful temperament and is a happy girl. She enjoys picking toys from the toy box and bringing them to the other dogs to initiate play. Her foster mom said she gets very excited when she calls her and delights in being picked up and loved on. Lucy is still very much a puppy so lots of chew toys will keep her occupied and satisfied.
