About CURRY

American Bulldog / American Staffordshire Terrier
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Many dogs I meet touch my heart. This dog has caused a piece of my heart to break. His eyes and his body language speak volumes about his sadness. The way he sought my affection and displayed his in return made it clear that he misses the love that's been lost to him. CURRY (#A1680229) was surrendered to the East Valley Animal Shelter, Van Nuys, CA, on October 23 after his owner lost his home. Losing his family and his home was a double whammy for CURRY. Because of allergies, CURRY was kept in medical for a while, so he couldn't be seen by shelter visitors, but he's now out in the general kennels. CURRY's owner provided some history about his beloved pet, who lived with him for almost his entire 6 years. He was an indoor pet, crate-trained, and housebroken. He gets along with dogs large and small; he's playful with children; he's good in the car. It might be natural for CURRY's eyes to express sorrow, but I'm fairly certain that when he is once again with a family who will love him forevermore, his joy will become evident. Please Share so that a loving family might see that he's the companion pet they've been wanting to adopt/foster/rescue.
