About Shep

This little pup is Shep, an American Foxhound. He was born September 1st and currently weighs 14 pounds. Shep used to being bossed around by his four sisters at his foster home. He is a sweet boy who loves attention and is eager to learn new things. We expect him to weigh between 50 and 65 pounds fully grown. American Foxhounds are known for being sweet natured, gentle dogs who are friendly with people and very tolerant of children. They are also low shedding dogs. Shep is neutered, microchipped, and has had the first two of three required distemper/parvo vaccinations. His adopters will be responsible for his third distemper/parvo booster at 14 weeks and his rabies vaccine at 16 weeks. Shep is doing well at house training, but is a young puppy, so his forever home needs to have the ability to get him out to potty every 4 hours throughout the day until�'��he is older.�'��Shep requires a physically fenced yard to run and play safely.
