Ever wish you could have your very own polar bear? Well, now you can have something better - Georgie Bear! Hello there, I am George, am a 10-month-old Shepsky (German Shepherd and Siberian Husky mix), but my foster family calls me Georgie Bear because I look like a polar bear and my fur is very soft. My life didn't start out too great and I've lived all of it outside in the backyard until Husky Haven of Florida took me in with my mother and sister. Now, I get to be inside with my foster family and I'm so well-behaved that you would think I have lived inside a home all my life. That is until my foster family's robot vacuums start going and then I'm just like a big baby running scared from those tiny disc things that seem out to get me. I am just a baby trapped in a 'not so little' body. I can be a little shy and timid at first, but once I know that you are wanting to be my friend. I follow you everywhere, give you the biggest of hugs, and sit on your lap as if I was a tiny little lap dog. My foster family has 2 kids, one is only 3, and I'm so good with her. At first, I wanted to show her how much I love her for getting me out just in time for thanksgiving and would jump on her to give her my famous big bear hug and that didn't work out too well because she toppled over a few times. I'm learning that I can still show her how much I love her just by sitting pretty next to her and licking her face. She is also an infinite source of food, so I really listen to her commands so she can keep on feeding me those yummy treats. I am really enjoying home life now and that thanksgiving turkey was delicious! I love being with my humans and am also dog friendly (my foster family has 3). Fun fact about me: I have discovered that I like to carry a pillow around the house. They are so soft and colorful and foster mom has so many. At night I'm a good boy and sleep the night away in my crate. I don't love to go in the crate because I like to be with my humans, but I'm learning to like it because there are always treats and toys in there waiting for me. I can also be trusted in the house because I'm such a good boy and just happy to have the comforts of living inside a home. I'm potty trained, walk like a dream on the leash and I'm just ready to be your forever polar bear. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
