Nini is a very smart and playful girl who loves to run and swim and would play fetch all day if possible. Like any Labrador, she is happiest in the woods, on the go, keeping busy, and being with her people. Like many Pitties, Nini is goofy and loving. Nini arrived from TN in April 2021 as a 3-month-old bundle of energy. Her initial veterinary visit proved that her left front elbow was broken in 3 places (she had gone into foster/rescue at a few weeks old, after being stepped on by a human toddler) and beyond repair. In November 2021, Nini underwent amputation and within a few weeks was fully healed and she was running through the woods as if nothing had happened. Nini is incredibly intelligent. Even on her first day with me, she learned 'Leave It,' and went to the door and rang a suspended bell to indicate that she needed to pee. She knows: - Come - Sit - Down - Sit-Stay - Down-Stay - Wait (or Stay) - Release - Take It (for toys) - Gentle (when taking treats) - Heel She is experiencing some resource guarding. Nini needs a big backyard and other dogs to enjoy. I look forward to giving her an EVEN BETTER life!
