About Wednesday

Meet Wednesday, a beautiful two-year-old, 45 lb. black lab/pointer mix with the silliest and floppiest of ears. She was found giving birth in the woods and then brought to the shelter. Her babies have all been adopted and now it's mama's turn! Wednesday is currently still in SC and is awaiting her freedom ride up north (12/3) so we are looking for a foster or adopter to save her! This sweetheart is friendly with everyone she meets, including dogs and kids. Her current foster says, 'Wednesday is a wonderful dog! She has a great sense of humor and loves to play and talk to you. She has the unique ability to get ANY dog to play with her - from the biggest shepherd, to the cranky old man, to the tiny puppy, she's the queen at making friends. Due to her breed and prey drive, she'd do best without cats. Wednesday has a good desire to please and quickly learned about the house rules. She is not really food motivated, but LOVES to play tug. She is quiet in the tub and has even allowed us to use the grinder on her nails. Wednesday is a very good girl, great listener, well mannered, and is housetrained too! She'd love to find a home with a fenced yard to enjoy. Wednesday is a fantastic dog and cannot wait to meet you! Her adoption fee is $350 and she is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
