About Emmylou

Emmy is a beautiful pure breed golden retriever. She is a rescue from a breeder in Ohio. She is shy and takes time to feel safe. But once she does, she is an extremely sweet and relaxed dog. She is a lapdog if you let her. And she is super easy to brush. She knows basic commands. She prefers to lounge by your side than anything else. She has been abused. She flinches if you swing your arm or leg. She is shy of new things. But she is super sweet and still has a positive happy spirit despite how she has been treated. She needs someone home more than I am. I am gone 9hr a day. She needs regular exercise too to help her manage her anxiety energy. She is a very easy dog! She is happy to lay by your feet while you watch tv or go with you on a walk (her leash manners are very good as well).
