About Barkley

Barkley is a 9 month old, purebred White German Shepherd. He and 3 siblings were surrendered to the rescue off the Pala Reservation. Barkley would do best in a working line home, or a home who understands high energy/drive dogs. Not a dog for a first time adopter. This boy needs a job, he is very dog friendly, they all merely tolerate his antics. Barkley's a big, goofy clown, He loves to fetch and his love language is words of affirmation. He loves to be told he's a good boy. He is crate-trained and housebroken. He would make a wonderful search and rescue dog. He is incredibly intelligent and highly motivated. He just needs the right fit for his personality and working line disposition. He is ready for his new forever family. Who has room on their couch for this big baby?
