About Zoey

Sweet Golden Retriever that is approximately 7.5 yrs old. Zoey is afraid of thunder storms. Zoey was previously a breeding momma for a local breeder. She was a farm dog who was used to using a doggie door in the pole barn to go out to pottie. She has given birth to multiple puppies and has a weak bladder- she can hold it for less than 6 hours. For the past 6 months we have tried to acclimate her to indoor living and house training, but she is not happy home alone with our very busy schedule. She is sweet and gentle, but does not play with our 4 year old son. My husband is an amputee, and the prosthesis scares Zoey, and she runs past him- occasionally knocking him over. We hate to re-home her again, but she is not happy here and not a good fit for our family at this time.
