About Dakota

Available for adoption in Clarksville, TN - Hi my name is Dakota and I am a very sweet 5 1/2 month old Border Collie mix. I was dumped with all my littermates at a Kentucky kill shelter. I am so grateful to ASF and my foster mom for getting me out of there. My foster mom tells me I'm a very sweet pup. I can be a handful at times! I tend to keep my foster mom on her toes. I'm very playful and love playing with my foster brother Simon. I absolutely love to fetch toys. We've been working on potty training and I'm doing very well. My foster mom has been crate training me and takes me out several times a day. I still need to learn not to rip up blankets and destroy the dog bed. I am a super playful pup with beautiful fur. I love to snuggle and be petted and give kisses. I love my treats but my foster mom puts a limit on them because she doesn't want me to have a belly ache! I'm looking for my forever home that will love me and play with me and treat me like family. If my new family would spoil me I wouldn't mind that at all. I still have a lot to learn, so please be patient with me and I will be the best pup and love you forever ! ?? Dakota is up to date on vaccinations. He will need one set of boosters in three weeks. He is microchipped and on heartworm prevention. He has an upcoming neuter appointment, so he will be available for adoption once it's complete.
