About Macie

Looking for a sweet and spunky pup to join your home for the holidays? Macie is your girl! When you first meet her, she is shy and timid, but it doesn't take her too long to come out of her shell and show off her personality! This girl has lots of energy and pizzazz to share with her forever family. It's hard to scroll past her unique coloring and and sweet brown eyes. Her happy personality will seal the deal when you meet her! Macie is a two-year-old, 50-pound boxer mix. She has been well-taken care of with vaccinations, spay, and monthly preventatives. She is a good balance of playful and chill. She wouldn't mind having a doggy sibling - male or female - that will play with her as she gets along with both and various sizes and breeds. Cats are unknown, but Macie has shown a little bit of a prey drive toward squirrels and rabbits. She would also be great with kids, very gentle and loving. Her favorite pastimes are watching out the window and sniffing around the back yard - She's a curious pup! Macie has some trust issues, most likely due to her past, and just needs a few days to learn that she is safe. The longer she is with you, the more comfortable she'll feel! She walks very well on a leash and picks up on commands quickly. Macie would be a great family or single hooman dog and is looking forward to meeting her forever. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
