About Ruffles

Ruffles is a beautiful 11 year old, 9 pound male sable Pomeranian looking for his happily ever after! This poor guy found himself in a busy NY shelter as a senior and we just don't know why. Despite his age, Ruffles is a spry guy who knows what he wants! He isn't a fan of bigger dogs and doesn't play with other dogs, but he does like the company of dogs. He follows their lead in day to day life. It does take Ruffles time to warm up in new places with new people, but once he settles in he will be your constant cute shadow, demanding treats, and wanting to be snuggled up with you. This boy is healthy overall, but we do have him on joint supplements and a little gabapentin twice a day to keep him feeling young. Ruffles is leash trained, crate trained, rides well in a car, and now that he is neutered, he is much better with potty habit whether on a pee pad or outside. All this old guy needs is a home that will give him some time to get his bearings and then he will be your best friend!
