Meet TETE! STATS: 7 year old Chihuahua LOCATION: Pensacola FL NEEDS: Loving home, lots of time with her person, fenced yard, no little kids or big dogs. HIGHLIGHTS: Super sweet and precious lap dog! Hi, my name is Tete! I'm 7 years old and tiny, they say only 5 pounds, 8 ounces! I'm a blondish-tan Chihuahua. My name should be Cutie Pie because I'm about as cute and sweet as they come! Sadly my mommy died but the nice people here took me in so I could find a new family. I'm kind of a velcro dog. It took me 3 days to fall in love with my foster mom and now we are always together. I'm sure I'll fall in love with you too! I'll follow you anywhere and I love to snuggle! Your lap is one of my favorite places to be. I like being held and I love it when you pick me up so I can be close to you. I'm very in tune with my people and I can work magic on them! My foster mom and I were watching a movie the other night and eating popcorn...if she took too long to hand over a piece of popcorn I'd gently remind her with my tiny paw scratching on her arm...and it worked! For me, car rides are great and so is running around outside in a fenced in yard. I haven't done it yet, but I'm pretty sure I'd run off if given a chance so I think maybe I should have a home with a fenced yard for my own safety. I'm house broken as long as you remember to take me out on a regular basis. I can also use a puppy pad if you'd like. I get along with other dogs but I don't mind being the only dog. Either way is fine with me. I'm sure I'll be your favorite though! I like everyone but am a bit shy at first. I've been around a tiny human baby without any problem but since I'm so tiny, a house without small children would be best for me. The baby doesn't walk or crawl around and try to pick me up. Toys don't really interest me but if you bought me a couple, I'd give it a try as long as you played with me. I hope you don't mind company in the bathroom because I go where you go! PS: Did I mention I sleep in the BIG bed? I have been to the vet for a wellness check and I am now up to date on shots, fecal tested, heartworm negative, have had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and am microchipped with a lifetime registration. I still need to be spayed and the people here at the rescue pay for that procedure at one of their vets. I know the perfect forever home is out there just waiting for a sweet little girl like me!
