About Oakley

Oakley is an 8 year old Aussie/Bernese mountain dog mix (around 50 lbs). He has been in our family since he was a puppy and the decision to rehome him has been a hard one. Oakley is a very sweet dog but does come with some energy due to the aussie breed so he would do best either somewhere with room to run or with someone who can exercise him regularly. He is a dominant dog and has been aggressive toward other dogs he is unfamiliar with so would do best in a home without other dogs and without small children. He does tend to be anxious in unknown/unpredictable settings (we have a two year old son who makes him anxious). We are very sad to be parting with him but he deserves a home with someone who can give him the attention and exercise he needs and ensure a better quality of life.
