About Sadie

Sadie is a 2YO Australian Cattle Dog who came into the shelter with her friend Dottie A039320 as strays on 11/14/22. She weighs 28 lbs. 'Sisters make the best friends in the world.' This might as well be Dottie A039320 and Sadie's life mottos! They live by those words and have already been together through so much already. They were found together as strays in Richmond - neither wanted to leave the other's side. Now they're comforting each other in the stressful shelter environment by sharing a kennel. Even loose in the play yard they don't like to get too far away from each other. We contacted the owner via the information we found on their microchips, but she said she'd given them to someone else years ago. We contacted the man she'd given them to who said he'd given them to a man he met with at a gas station...but he wasn't able to provide this man's information. These gorgeous girls are hoping their next home will be their furever one�'�|and they're keeping their paws crossed that they'll get to stay together. Both Dottie and Sadie are gentle and sweet, with lower energy levels. They're happy to keep themselves entertained for the most part, though they do enjoy being pet! Dottie is a little more independent and reserved than Sadie is. Neither Is too interested in toys�'�|but they do appreciate treats. They both walk great on a leash without pulling - you can even easily walk the two girls together!
