About Harlem Gray

American Staffordshire Terrier mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Harlem Gray is a 3YO Staffordshire who came into the shelter (along with another dog who has already left the shelter) on 8/23/22. She weighs 50 lbs. The best thing about Harlem Gray? She makes piggy like grunting noises when she's happy. And that's pretty often! It's adorable. Harlem Gray came into the shelter as an injured stray along with a puppy friend (who has since already been adopted). She had a couple of gashes on her right rear leg. Thankfully our medical team has gotten her fixed up nicely! Harlem Gray had a microchip. The owner from the microchip had given her away. We were able to make contact with her new owner, but she surrendered them to the shelter rather than reclaiming them because her kids had gone away to school and she was scared of dogs. She did note that Harlem Gray is great around children though! Harlem Gray is more than ready to start a new chapter of her life. She's lots of fun, and has so much love to give some lucky human! She loves toys and is happy to keep herself entertained with them. Just throw the ball once and she'll keep it for a while, batting it around. She's playful, but gets rid of a lot of energy quickly. Then she's ready to settle down and be pet! She loves treats and will sit on command for one. She's just waiting for someone to fall for that gorgeous smile of hers!
