When Honeybun showed up at my house she looked in pretty good shape so I assumed she belonged to someone in the neighborhood. But when I found no Lost Cat signs in the neighborhood, I took her for a checkup and to have her fixed. My vet says she's in great shape. I have her paperwork available. Honeybun is a beautiful tortoiseshell (as you can see) and quite affectionate with me. She loves to be rubbed and brushed, and drools to show her appreciation. But she does not get along with my two cats (fur has flown) and I'm pretty sure dogs would get the same treatment. I've tried to acclimate her to my cats and vice versa but no go. I'm also pretty sure she's been abused because she flinches at quick movements and reacts defensively to feet, as if someone has kicked her in the past. Honeybun definitely needs to be in a one-cat home, where I'm sure she would thrive and make a wonderful companion for her human. If there's a 'cat person' out there who has no other pets but would like to give this little beauty a chance, please respond to this post. If interested, you can certainly foster her until you are sure you and she are a match, with the assurance that I will always take her back if it doesn't work out. Honeybun would love to share your home and be your one and only pet. Please let me know if you're interested. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have. Thanks!
