About Nessy

Meet Nessy, who just came to Wayward Ranch from the Brooklyn Animal Care Centers. She was brought to them when her owner could no longer care for her and when we saw her adorable face, we knew we had to help her! She is now in a foster home who is getting to know her while we thoroughly evaluate her behaviorally prior to adoption. She is 6-7 months old, very sweet although a bit timid in new situations, and loves to be cuddled. She is not housebroken so she will need a forever family willing to put the work in to properly train her. She has done well with other dogs but has not yet been cat tested at this time. We are currently accepting applications for her, but are anticipating receiving a large number. Prior to clicking the link below to submit an application, please make sure you are within a 4 hour drive of our facility in Kerhonkson, NY and that you are willing to make the drive to meet Nessy here a minimum of 2 times prior to adoption. We will only pursue applications that meet these requirements. She will be ready to go home as of December 4th.
