About DONNY

Donny came into rescue 4 months ago when he was on the euthanasia list at MCACC for tick fever. He has been getting healthier and has since been able to get neutered and has fully recovered. He is a little guy at around 7 lbs and is initially very shy. At his foster home he hid for about the 1st 3 weeks but with patience and kindness he did come around. He really likes other dogs so would need at least one other 4 legged friend at his forever home. He is learning the potty routine at his foster but is not yet housebroken. He does fine in a crate or playpen. He is estimated around 5 years and would do best in a calmer home with someone willing to allow him to open up on his own timeframe. He has not been with children but we are thinking due to his temperament he would be best with older respectful children or no children.
