About Lewis

A co-worker of mine said that I should reach out to you in regards to rehoming my 5 year old Blue Heeler/Hound Mix, Lewis. I have had Lewis since he was 6 weeks old. He was neutered around 1 year and is up to date on all of his vaccines (his annual schedule is mid-to-late December). I am in the unfortunate position of needing to rehome Lewis. My wife is expecting and while Lewis has always been great around me and her, he has shown an anxiousness around others and young children. He's been around ages 12 and up and other dogs on many different occasions and has done well. But I think a single dog home with no children is going to be his best fit. I have been debating this decision ever since we found out about the pregnancy and have finally decided this is the best situation. Can you please help? I really want to find him a great home with plenty of room to run during the day and be able to lounge on the couch at night like he's done with me for these past few years.
