About Kate

Our beautiful Kate with the sad eyes. She started out as 'Kate plus 8', but then she lost one pup, the littlest one who was too malnourished and passed in her sleep. Then a few weeks later the litter was struck with parvo and Kate lost all but 2 of her babies. Can you imagine? At her current foster home, she was drawn to the children in the house after that and is feeling much better. She and her remaining 2 babies are coming the first week of December. (Mary is still available for adoption) and Kate needs a loving home to stay safe and secure in from now on. Her foster mom says 'She's a sweetheart!! She loves cats and likes other dogs, but prefers slow intros to them. Housebroken, leash trained and crate trained. She has blossomed into an amazing girl now that she knows she is safe. She was very sad when her pups got sick so the children in the house have been giving her extra love.'
