his 9-10 mo old pittie or pittie mix male pup showed up at my BF's house sometime Friday, 11/11, night. We feed feral cats and have a camera in the 3-sided bdlg where we feed, and I saw him on camera. Images below are what he looked like on Saturday. Attached images are from today, 11/16. We TNR cats so the 'kennel' that he's in is for feral females to recover after surgery. Fortunately, we have only had males and none recently. The crate is now wrapped and there is straw in the crate and on the ground next to the pallet that the crate is on, and there are windbreaks around 2 sides of the 'kennel'. He is being fed small meals 3x/day, Victor dog food, and is doing well. Via FB posts, folks have pledged $210 if a rescue will 'pick him up'. We plan on taking him to a vet after Thanksgiving to check for a chip and to be checked out. Right now, we're allowing him to decompress and just learn how it is to be loved, to be fed regularly and to feel safe. He is friendly and responsive. I will start leash training soon. I volunteer w/AAR on the cat side and am a foster. I used to show dogs a long time ago. A retired vet who lives across the street has looked at him but not examined him. He needs a rescue and a forever home. Thanks for anything that you can do.
