About Leslie

Leslie is a super friendly kitty with a unique gait. When she was still a fetus, her mom was exposed to a virus that inhibited the growth of the part of the kitten's brain responsible for balance. As a baby, she was severely disabled. SOS and our parent rescue, CAARI have worked tirelessly together to help Leslie learn to stand, walk, and eat independently. Even though she has cerebellar hypoplasia she is doing so well and ready for her forever home! Each cat will come to their new home neutered or spayed, with age-appropriate vaccines, individually tested negative for FeLV, FIV and heartworms, and microchipped. They can travel along I-35 in Texas with rescue partner for a small donation. Transport is available to most southern states, CT, NY, PA, ME, NJ and a few other states for $175. All out of state adoptions/transport MUST have an Interstate Health Certificate by a qualified veterinarian for $85. We do not adopt out to Florida or California as those states have an abundance of Siamese needing placement within their respective states. Three personal references, a veterinary reference, a completed application, an adoption contract, and an adoption donation are required for adoption.
