About Acorn

Acorn Acorn is a male Lab mix DOB: March of 2022 Adoption fee: $200.00 (Please read my description before applying, fencing required due to age/not house trained/spent last 7 months in a barn) I have not been exposed to home life. I was surrendered from an Amish farm and grew too big to sell. I do not seem as though I will be a huge lab but there is no guarantee what size I may be. Best guess 60-75 pounds when fully grown. I would do best with another dog in my home to help me acclimate. I am timid to new people and situations, but willing and wanting to have a connection with people. I am very submissive with other dogs and would do best with another dog which is well established in the home. I may be too much for elderly dogs, small dogs, and if your dog has been the only dog for a length of time, they may not like the way I play or my determination to get another dog to like me. Considering my behavior traits, it is detrimental; the current dog wants me there or can tolerate my neediness of having a relationship with them. Having a good connection with another dog will help my confidence with accepting humans as a good thing. I will require a physically fenced yard. I am not fit for an apartment. Pending situation and observed interaction, I may be best with older children. I have not been tested with cats yet.
