Rusty was a feral dog when I rescued him in Long Beach CA in July 2020. He is still extremely skittish around people and in unfamiliar surroundings. He will shy away from touch/petting. He has snapped at me and a few others for reaching over his head. He has had some training, but it has not been reinforced or kept up.
