About BAXTER

Baxter is looking for a new home due to the death of his human mom. He is good friends with Dixie but we think they would do ok separated as long as he had at least one other small playful well matched dog. Baxter is 2-3 years and about 14 lbs. He walks on a leash and is almost 100% housebroken with access to a yard and also uses potty pads, though will take some adjustment to a new home/routine. He may have some separation anxiety and also may prefer females. He also has shown some resource guarding behavior (bonds to one human) so might be best in a dog savvy home with older or no children. He also will need a secure yard. He loves to play with his canine friend and with toys. Baxter does sometimes show some leash reactivity so may also need a bit of work on that behavior. Interested?
