About Cole

Please note that because all of our dogs live in foster homes, we are unable to set up meetings with a dog unless we have a completed adoption application on file. Adoptions must be about an hour of Wilmington, DE in order for our volunteers to be able to conduct an in person home visit. Cole is a 15 pound, eight year old yorkie poo that was rehomed due to the health of his owner. Cole was well-cared for and has no health issues, other than a cataract in one of eyes that does not limit his ability at all. Cole is pretty active and enjoys walks, time in the yard and loves to play fetch. He is well socialized as he went to doggie daycare and gets along with all of the dogs in his foster home and is non-reactive to other dogs when out on walks. He is great with people and house-trained. He is a great eater and also knows some commands. Cole would love a family where he can get the love and attention he deserves. He did experience some separation anxiety but is better now that he knows the household routine and that someone is always coming home.
