About NYX

Nyx finds the shelter to be a real downer. And we have to agree. It stinks to be stuck in a small kennel for most hours of most days surrounded by other load stressed dogs. We will never understand how so many family can just wash their hands of pets and never come looking for them. We met Nyx before reality had set in. She had only been in her kennel a few hours yet didn't hesitate to leave with us. Nyx was a busy body outside searching for home. Her tail was happily wagging like her family was hiding around the corner. Nyx came when we called her over and let us give her some pets and belly rubs. She had no interest in treats or toys and hardly sat still for long unless we were crouched down giving cuddles. She enjoyed our attention the most. Nyx has velvet soft fur. It's probably great genetics but also signs of home living. Come meet her at the CACC shelter in Chicago! Adoptions take place daily from 12p-6p
