LOCATION: Dayville, Connecticut DOB: 6/13/2020 Meet Miss Laggy! She may be a peanut of a Dane in body, but her heart is bigger than words can truly say. This girl checks off every box, not just for those Dane lovers, but for any dog lover. Lagertha is typical Velcro Dane, affectionate and wanting to be right up close with her people to cuddle and snuggle with. If you are having a bad day, this girl will make you feel better in no time. She does take a moment to warm up to men but then does fine and a house with kids over 5 would be ideal as she can sometimes be spooked by sudden, loud noises. She is cat curious but not aggressive at all towards them and she is great with other dogs too. Given her shy personality, Miss Laggy would do well in a home with another dog that can keep her company and she can be best buddies with. Already she has great leash manners, has amazing recall skills and she responds easily to commands which makes it even easier to do some of her favorite things like riding in a car and chilling with her people outside. Laggy does perfectly well free-roaming the house if home alone. She enjoys having her soft toys to keep her company and she does not potty in the house. Her curious eyes and nose sometimes lead her towards the kitchen though so keep those counters clear!
