About Buddy

Hi! I'm Buddy! I am approximately 5 months old (at least that's the guess based on my teeth- which by the way are sharp and in great condition). I am about 18 pounds, and a very healthy male, brindle mix. I am very friendly and super sweet. I really try hard to listen and learn. I am doing well potty training but can still have an accident. I sleep well in my crate at night, but my foster humans are around a lot so I sit with them during the day. I love people and I really love dogs. I am staying with two older dogs and love to run and play with them. I can run very fast, and jump pretty high. I really like to be part of the pack so other dogs and people are a huge plus. I came from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee so I can get confused sometimes with how to be a carefree dog. I love to sleep on these soft things called couches. I hope you have one. Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 14 days of a veterinarian deeming the dog or puppy is ready to be altered. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
