Meet Carl! Hi my name is Carl I'm a 12 week old, male, heeler mix that came from Arkansas with my siblings. I love when people love on me and let me cuddle them. Sun bathing and playing in the grass are my favorite activities. I am a quick learner: I can walk on a leash well and even know my sit and touch commands. I'm working on potty training and am getting the hang of it. I love playing with toy ropes and chasing tennis balls around for fun. I sleep through the night in my crate and wait for my foster mom to let me out in the morning and am always excited to see her when she wakes us up. Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 14 days of a veterinarian deeming the dog or puppy is ready to be altered. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
