Hi I'm Kirby. People say I'm just a sweet ball of cuddles. They say I'm a Feist/Hound/Terrier and am around 5 months old. I've been potty training well and love sleeping in my crate all night being in the same room with you. I am a sniffing queen. I lead by my nose and love the reward at the end when I find food. In fact, I'll do anything you ask with a little bit of training if you reward me with treats. I'm kind of skittish with new situations but with just a little coaxing I also love adventure. I'm very independent and happy to play with my bone by myself or I can also enjoy playing with other dogs and cats and little people are my favorite. I'm excited to find my forever home just in time to spend the holidays as your new family addition. Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 14 days of a veterinarian deeming the dog or puppy is ready to be altered. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
