About Stella

Sweet Stella Stella is a 3-4 y/o, petite pug/pittie mix weighing in full grown at only 28 lbs! This smart girl responds well to her name and knows basic commands. Stella is working on house training and is doing great when kept on a schedule. She is not a big fan of her crate and would prefer a family that spends a lot of time at home. Stella is cat friendly and is good with dogs after slow introductions. She is also good with kids that respect a dogs space. Stella rides well in the car and is a great leash walker. Stella loves to play with her toys and snuggling up with humans (preferably under the covers). She is spayed and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. She will be waiting for her furevers in New Holland, PA. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. Saturday, December 10, 2022, PA Caring for K9's will be at Faulkner Toyota in Harrisburg, PA from 10am-2pm with some of our adoptable dogs! All are invited to meet our dogs, but only pre-approved adopters with all household humans and dogs present will be able to adopt at the event.
