About Maxine- Very Stressed

MAXINE A2054708 Her owner was busted for too many dogs, so now she could face being euthanized!! This sweet girl doesn't deserve what happened to her! MAXINE is located at our S.L.A./CHESTERFIELD SQUARE shelter. She is in need of behavior/decompression intervention. MAXINE is not coping well in the shelter environment and has been showing high levels of Fear, Anxiety, and/or Stress. Continued high levels of Fear, Anxiety, and/or stress can be deleterious to both the physiological and emotional well-being of an animal. The Chesterfield Square Animal Services Center is in urgent need of large breed dogs getting adopted or pulled by rescues. All of our kennel spaces, in medical and general population, are currently full and over capacity, so we are doubling up our large breed dogs. We are having difficulty with finding kennel space for incoming animals, and we are at a point of having to make difficult decisions that NONE of us want to make.
