About HERCULES - TX ResQ Pup

HERCULES is a 5-yr-old, 70 pound super affectionate and lovable Pitbull mix who was rescued from the high-kill pound in Houston, Texas. HERCULES has been living with his adoptive family in Pekin, Illinois, where he is beloved by everyone except the family's original dog, a feisty Standard Poodle who rejects him. HERCULES loves the Poodle as much he loves every dog he meets, but the Poodle's hostility to HERCULES has persisted, so the family is seeking to rehome him. HERCULES' family writes about the happy-go-lucky pup as follows: 'Hercules loves to have his face petted especially around his eyes and mouth. He loves to lay his head on your lap. He is only just learning how to play with toys. He loves laying out in the sun and going on Long car rides. He gets along so well other dogs but not at all with cats who he will chase incessantly. We love Hercules very much but our other dog is very jealous and will not stop attacking HERCULES who is so loving that he won't even fight back. It's been over a year now and it's getting worse, not better, and it is just not fair to Hercules. We're praying for a family to adopt him which has a friendly dog who will love HERCULES back and has a backyard for them to play together in.'
