Her foster started fostering Cassie through PACC in May and transitioned to CTSS about a month ago. Cassie had been attacked by two larger dogs and had to have surgery. The surgery didn't take and PACC wanted to amputate her leg. Thankfully Cherished Tails pulled her and she saw a specialist. He said she's not in pain and did not need the amputation. He did say that she should be on glycoflex or another supplement for arthritis for life. She is a silly, playful girl that absolutely loves people!! She wants a lot of attention! I don't know how she is with kids. She's good with my 65 lbs dog and gets along with dogs her size at playgroup. She can be a little snippy with young dogs who get in her space but this could also be due to lower vision common in senior dogs. She met my moms very mellow cat and was great with her, too. She is fully housebroken and sleeps in her crate at night. She'll sometimes put herself to bed. The crate is her den. She's an awesome little gal!!! She is estimated around 10 years old even though her PACC paperwork had her aged much older and around 16-17 lbs.
