About Oreo

Oreo wants to know if you are his forever person! This handsome 80 lb guy found himself in an overcrowded shelter around July 4th, one of thecworst times of the year for animals. We know he had a home once and his people taught him how to sit and lie down and take his treats nicely. They taught him not to pull too hard on his leash when he goes for walks but he didn't learn how to not zig zag because there are so many interesting things to smell and see. He likes to talk to new people and ask if they are friend or foe, and if you offer him a treat you can tip the scales towards friend a lot quicker. Oreo likes riding in the car but doesn't always get in the car too quickly. This is where the treats come in again, and down the road you go on adventures together. He would be an excellent conpanion for a single person or adult couple who are able to provide him with moderate exercise, occasional outings and lifelong commitment as a family member.
