About Druss

Druss is a 1 year old, mix breed dog who looks like he could be a mix of yellow lab and mountain cur but we don't know for sure! He sure would be a fun one to DNA test! Druss is very happy, active boy who lives for adventure and play! In his foster home, he loves to run and chase the other dogs around the yard! Druss is reliably housetrained and knows some basic commands such as sit, down and heel because he actually went to a training program! Druss is a very smart boy who is looking for a smart, active owner who will make sure that he gets the exercise and mental stimulation he needs to be his best! He would be a wonderful hiking companion and friend to accompany you on all of your outdoor adventures! Druss weighs about 55-60 pounds and is friendly to people and other dogs. We have no history of him living with cats. Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
