About Charlie

Hi I'm Charlie. I'm a male German Shepherd, and I am under a year old. Breed of my dad is unknown but I do not appear to be a mixed breed pup. I didn't have the best start at life and am shy at first, but I'm a total love bug. My foster parents call me the cowardly lion. I am very sweet once you get to know me and want endless kisses and pets. I will need additional training and a family that can keep me active. Breed experience is preferred but not required. I am currently working on learning basic commands and leash training. I am also learning crate training and potty training. I will need a patient, loving home that will help me continue to learn while understanding that I am still a bit fearful of new scenarios. I have not been tested with cats but arrangements can be made to do so. A home with children ages 10+ is preferred.
