About Bread

Meet Bread! He is a 2-year-old male, lab mix breed who weighs 60-65 pounds. Currently located in Vandalia, OH. Bread can be nervous around other dogs and cats, therefore would need to be an only dog! Bread is very smart and knows sit, lay down, high five and stay and waits to eat till told. He is an amazing people dog and loves to go on walks and hikes. He is also house, and crate trained. He is good with kids so long as they understand they can't pull on him or hit him. He's very hyper and will likely knock over a small child if they play too rough and get him riled up. He barks at people outside the door or knocking but otherwise quiet! He would do well in an apartment or home - but if the yard isn't fenced in, he should be on a leash. He is very much a 'wiggle butt' dog around people but due to prior abuse can get nervous around yelling or loud noises. He has never shown aggression but will cower when fearful. Bread would also benefit from some basic training and obedience classes. He prefers women to men but does well with either gender. Bread's adoption fee is $200.00.
