About Baxter

Baxter is a family dog whose 'person' is my soon to be ex-husband. The ex out of spite has alienated not only his only child but also the dog. we are selling the house and my daughter and I will be in a temporary living situation and can't take Baxter and the ex- refuses to engage. It's so sad and actually callous. My hope and plan is to have him fostered until my daughter and I are in a new home which will be in the December time frame (Mid to late December) I'm so desperate to ensure Baxter is cared for so I'm hoping your organization can be of help. I've got the word out with friends (no family in state) and all of them are animal people (I don't usually deal with people who don't love animals:) and they have no room for more. However if he finds a new home with loving people I would for sure support him staying with his new family. I have to have him re-homed in some way by no later than November 16th. I know this is short notice but I was hoping against hope that his 'person' my ex would have a change of heart.
